BLOCKCHAIN MASTERCLASS

The Blockchain MasterClass was designed to provide an introduction to blockchain technology, its history and potential. In this MasterClass, you will learn how the underlying technology of Bitcoin has evolved over the last few years into a tool that will change how we share value over the internet. The course will start with basic historical information and then go on with advanced level knowledge in the topic.The Blockchain MasterClass is delivered by Letitia Seglah.

SMART CONTRACTS MASTERCLASS

The Smart Contracts MasterClass is targeted towards people who want an introduction to the topic and its principal applicability from a corporate perspective, its history and potential. In this MasterClass, you will learn how the underlying technology of Blockchain has developed, how Decentralised Applications (DAPS) work and how they can be deployed in line with a companies’ objectives. This MasterClass will not cover programming, coding, or the actual development of Smart Contracts but look at this emerging technology from a business perspective. In this interactive workshop, we will discuss business model development, value propositions, route-to-market strategies, and the structure and process of commercialising intellectual property. STARTUP ACADEMY AT INSEEC LONDON

From January to May 2015 Startup Manufactory delivered an ECTS accredited entrepreneurship course to 100 BBA students at INSEEC London. The course comprised of 58 hours of classroom time and 40 hours of 1:1 mentoring. The four business modules covered Business Proposition, Route-to-Market, Product Development, and Startup Finance. Over the course of 4 months, 19 student groups turned a business idea into a business plan ready for execution.

BUILD YOUR PRODUCT WORKSHOP

On August 6th 2015 Startup Manufactory hosted Jeff Skinner’s 2015 batch of the Entrepreneurship Summer School (ESS) of London Business School for a product development workshop. Around 60 MBA/EMBA students aka aspiring entrepreneurs from London Business School attended. After the workshop, the party retired to the dining room where Pizza and further Italian delis where served, kindly provided by Pizza Rossa, an award-winning gourmet-quality pizza restaurant founded by an LBS alumnus.

LBS HACKATHON 2015

Together with the LBS Entrepreneurship Club and the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at LBS, we co-organised LBS’ first Hackathon where tech met MBAs to develop MVP’s married with business models. About 500 people attended and the hakathon culminated in a fulminant award ceremony. There were eight super interested business models where tech and MBAs merged their skills. The winning team developed an online platform that had over 1,000 hits during the test phase. Watch the after movie!

CAMERA SUPPORTED PITCH TRAINING FOR STARTUPS

Camera supported startup pitch training for Austrian startups pitching for London-based venture capital organised by Advantage Austria, the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy London. 10 selected Startups were invited to pitch to London-based VCs and angel investors. Startup Manufactory provided camera-supported pitch training,speaking training, and advised on techniques. The event was organised in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP London and the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA).

GROWTH MARKETING FOR STARTUPS

Matt Kuppers will give a talk on the importance of creating an appealing story and how to market your brand. He will discuss how startups can build conversion funnels by using a combination of digital and event marketing and how to convert clients more effectively. In this workshop we analyse the differences between a corporate job and being an entrepreneur as a career option. In this workshop Letitia Seglah will talk about her personal experience how she transitioned from working in banking for over 10 years to become a FinTech, Regulations & Compliance expert.
